History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

Hey tommyd, do you anything about the drive train on the Joe Todd twin? Like what kind of tran or trans were used and how they were connected to the engine and axles? Thanks for any info.

 

Anyone know the make of the rear wheels, they look like Cragar Super Tricks, all the other shots I've seen of the car including a feature in 1967 PHR magazine have Rebel wheels all round

This looks like he was testing it on the street, doesn't look like a drag strip. Looks like a curb on the other side of the road...

 

Do you know who the driver is and what other cars he drove Tommy??

Great shot, notice the full exhaust system exiting behind the rear bumper , part of NHRA rules at the time...
