A really nice body for the money is one from N&N in Arkansas.

  4. Dwight Bond use to build the "viper"...a Gibbon Fiberglass chopped 34, 3 window with the windshield laid back...Bonneville style. Had a nice look to it but I don't know anything regarding the quality..

Are you sold on a glass body? Have you considered a steel body?

I would trust Downs and Westcott. Shipping is a consideration to think about.

If you were down here it would be Deuce Customs. No wood but full steel frame, burst proof locks etc

I have used several with the Wescott being my choice and they last forever. You didn't mention roadster but I thought I would throw this out. Wescott does not make a coupe body. Here is the last one I built using the Wescott body. I built the design and it was finished by Stokers. The bodies are stronger than the steel version from Ford and less expensive. SAR makes a steel one that is not that much more.

  12. Vote number 2 from me. I have one and its 100%. I know someone in the U.S. is importing them, but I'm sure someone here will know their name.

Take a long hard look at the slightly chopped 3 window body offered up by Eddies Rod Shop. Built in Michigan by Windsor Fabrication it is the top of the line in quality and proportion.

Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, I was also wondering if anyone makes '33-'34 five window bodies that are chopped?

Downs is making a '33-'34 five window body.
They are now located near Grand Rapids, MI.
The only other '33-'34 five window body I am aware of is being made out in the country of New Zealand.
    I've seen both bodies.

    Krylon32,
Do you know anyone who has built an Eddies Rod Shop '34 3 window or have you ever seen one done yet?
I have seen the body before and it appeared to be a really nice piece.
Was just wondering how the fit is on an original frame, and if the original sheet metal fits well?

Outlaw does a 34 3 inch chop as well as Bebop any one using the outlaw bodies??????

  19. I have a Hankster body that is 9 years old and I haven't had any problems at all... Scott Rods is making them now with the same molds as the designer Hank Hankins did. A great body in my opinion. the only thing I changed was the radiator shell from the og that came with the Hankster body so I could fit the blower pulleys in. 22. I did loads of research last year for a good 3 window...I settled on Ravon out of Montana, he will do hinges and handles or even a roll down rear window. Can do a custom chop too. Steve Poole is his name. Bought the company a couple years back and motivated to please. Check his web site then call him, he'll impress you!

I just purchased a 33-34 body and rolling chassis from Donna and Carl at Russ no more few months ago. am real pleased with all of it. I did 3 window . Not the Salt Flat version. everything lined up very well also doors open and close great. Using stock hood and 34 grille. hope have finished in 3 or 4 more months. I think for the price is a great deal

  25. someone said COUPES ARE FOR CHICKENS !!, i don't believe it, must have been a roadster guy.
I think there is an ex wife involved in this story
