    They were cast by Bud Ehlert in 1954 in Los Angeles- there are some repops out there but these have his name on the inside.

    Extremely rare they were expensive in 54- $75 which would be line $350 in today's money. Coolest yblock valve covers ever IMHO!

    I would have to agree with you! Probably the coolest set of covers period! They're definitely going on my swap meet bucket list.

    I couldn't agree more, not detailed but RRish. ;) Some things definitely detract from the car itself and could have been done better however the law down here stipulates that movable engine parts need to be shrouded with exhausts covered (Heat wrapped). The car doesn't look it, but it is well engineered.

    I couldn't agree more. The engine configuration was my focus. :D Sadly the tastes of some people are in their a***. :D
