And RACE READY looks good to me, but a photo from further back showing the whole car would be good.

  2. Bluto, that's what these were made for :)

  3. That's crazy I'm in Redding and never saw that car for sale. It looks great. Getting rid of that piss yellow paint really makes it look better. Good call on not painting it flat black. Hopefully we can meet at Auburn.

  4. Yeah I had to cut out pretty quick. My assistant was a little over the "old guy meeting"his exact words. We still need to get together for a BS session. That's great your car is in the Autorama. Maybe I'll see you there. I vote race ready no windshield

  5. Oh, I do plan on getting some good pictures of all the hopped up bangers

That was the only picture I took the same day I made that tarp. I then rolled it up and made a carry/storage case then put it up in storage.
I will post some full pictures of it after I install it, pre autorama show!

Race ready it will be! (LITERALLY) except for the number!

  6. I almost got that car from a friend of mine in Anderson, Tony at the Rock yard! It was really a great, complete little car!!!

  9. I know! eh?

I never run a fuse from alt. to the battery. Maybe try fusible link wire?

  10. Hey modelAsteve,
How would I go about finding a number that is valid to race the April F.A.S.T. hill climb? I have read the rules and got the car ready for inspection!:D
    Thanks,
    Joe

Is there a significant performance difference between the split-Y style ex. manifolds and a 4 into 1?

530SM Not sure what you are asking. Just show up- no special numbers needed. We will give you one.

  29. Ha ha, the fronts are 17" x 6.50 and the rears are 18" x 7.50 balloon tires! Maybe it was the 20' burn out on blacktop?[IMG]
