History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

Looks like they must have had a plug wire come off at one time. I have never seen them screwed down before. Taped down yes but never a special bracket to hold them down.

now it is your turn to pay attention--you posted this one on Friday. I don't expect anyone to go back through 1600 pages and 48,000 + posts to see if something has already been up but please try to keep track of the more recent stuff, especially your own posts. This thread eats up a bunch of bandwidth even without multiple posting of the same images.

I think that is Ted Thomas in the Jade Grenade, I can tell by the chute color, I saw it a lot...

 

Good point...what is interesting is that this one has the metal body, while the one I posted has the board...so wonder if this "one-hole" came before or after the two-holers in my post?...this car evolved so much it is hard to tell its chronology....
