So Cal Plating inspired 1936 Ford

Good Morning !!! Just checking in on the cool Socal Plating rig you were building. Hope all is well.

 

I wonder how I missed this thread. Glad I found it. Beautiful.

 

What a great build. I like everything about it. So far I like it better than the original. I hope you can get back to it soon.

 

Doesn't look like I'll be working on this one for awhile. Too many other projects right now....

And now, when It's been awhile... Have You gotten back to the '36.? This Is really an awesome build, and I hope You can find some time for It again.!

 

Hope you are back on it. I lived close to Los Feliz growing up but never heard or seen the car in the area but that's not a surprise.

 

It has been a year - Have you had time to just dust it off - hence no rain?

Lynn has been busy with other projects - as you have probably already seen. He is a phenomenal hot rod builder, doing much of the work on each build, and building them to his own exacting standards. He is a true gentleman of hot rodding and of life.

I am sure that he will update this thread, once work on the car starts back in earnest.

 

Just went thru it again..........I know life has a habit of getting in the way of important things but this is still one of the best threads on the HAMB.........trust things are o/k and it will get done soon.......andyd

 

I like your vision and style! Been building “hot flathead” powered Fords for over 55 years and usually don’t support the “kustoms”, but your interpretation is “spot on”! Nicely presented,great styling!

 

I hope you have had some time and reflection on your Wild Compliment to Past Styling that never gets old...
