No action on the Plymouth lately. Now that my garage is all insulated and plastered I'm too busy fixing the bike.

Edith de Plymouth sits naked under a tarp, waiting for better weather. 1457209876367-668729297.jpg

  19. Well we are making changes to Lucille, took care of the rear fenders first. Shaving the trunk, new rear bumper filler, frenching the headlights and a couple other things.... You get the idea. Nice. Flathead six?
(What is this strange word, "Finished"? ;))

  23. Wow, it wasn't that long ago that you painted this car. I was watching it on a thread here somewhere. It takes a lot of nerve to break out the grinders, welders and other tools to get back after it when the paint is still fairly fresh.

Everyone always kids me that I leave my cars in primer too long. I do that to make sure there aren't more body mods that I want to do before the paint gets sprayed. Paint jobs can be expensive nowadays! My hat's off to you. Lookin' good! E

I really like that photograph. Your '41 really lends itself to the taildragger profile.

  28. You are a smart man keeping them primered just in case, I had a to get some paint on her before the shows and it cost me a next to nothing so we went ahead and got her sprayed knowing that we were gonna tear into her again in the winter. Also scored a nice grill since the old one was damaged in the fire. No more blue chrome!
