When I first started building this car I never expected to get a feature in any magazine, let alone a 16 page spread in the Rodders Journal. Somehow I must have done something ok and my 29 roadster was chosen to be featured in this great publication.
The car was somewhat of a basket case that most people wouldn't want to touch with a 10 foot poole but I saw potential and went for it.

I'm very honored and I appreciate the recognition.

Thanks to Steve Coonan for shooting the car at the Bayou Round up in Louisiana, Rob Fortier for writing the article and Geoff Miles for putting this whole thing together. I think Curt Iseli did the layout. Special thanks to Tom Branch for helping me with the set up during the shoot and for being a great friend.

    You guys rule.

Here is the build thread, I started a few years ago.

Here is Steve Coonan doing his magic. It's always interesting how different photographer shoot.
He took the pictures over three days. The first day Steve shot our caravan from Austin to Lafayette and then the next two evenings the feature.

Spy screen shot I took of Steve camera. Check out these setting.

Simply stunning. Much congratulations on a great build, (probably, along with Nutrockers "A", my favorite traditional roadster), and the feature story.

Now drive the wheels off it! LOL

That one even turned my wife's head. She knows enough about TRJ to know that it's a huge honor to have your car featured in it. Congrats to you.
