I picked up a couple of sets of Kelsey-Hayes bent spoke wheels. I had them powder coated, one set gloss black and the other set gloss postal blue. I want to put a set on the 29, I like both colors but can only use one set. I really like the blue but I'm thinking it might be too much blue. What is your guys' opinion? I realize it's mine and it's for me and whatever makes me happy, so let's get past those comments and get some opinions.

They both look good but I'd lean towards black.

Here's my 2cts, if the hood stays black and the body blue then I think the blue works. If the body is all blue, I prefer black wheels.

Agreed with above - if all black body then the blue is cool, otherwise I choose the black

If there was a blue hood I would go with blue wheels. The way the car sits, black ones.

Black on the front with the black hood and blue on the back with the blue body. Or vice versa.

  7. They both look good. If it was mine I think the blue would get old fast. I'd go with the black. That always looks good

I don't think you could go wrong either way, but I really dig the blue ones on that car!

Blue. The spokes disappear in black. For solid wheels, I'd go black, but blue for the spoked wheels.

Too easy. Black is the hands down winner in my eye. I understand bringing some blue to the party that the wheels n tires are having but blue there seems almost cliche'. Looked at a hiboy early V8 roadster this summer, all black with a blue wire wheel (a blue similar to yours). Yuk...

OP is the hood gonna stay black and rest of body stay blue? In that case I prefer the blue.

The body is staying the way it is. Blue with the black hood.

My thoughts exactly, which is why I voted black. Those blue ones are pretty though! Tough choice

With the body blue/black, the blue wheels continues blue forward to contrast the hood. Kind of "pulls" the blue forward. If that makes sense.

  25. I think the black wheels get lost when surrounded by the black tires.

Add some white walls for some contrast and you cant go wrong either way. Haha sorry to through a wrench in the mix. Or take the hood off and go black wheels.

I could honestly go either way.

I'll say this. Black is definitely the safer of the two choices.
