  3. Not exactly 60's. More like about 1972-73. Spent a lot of time trying to make 500 HP with $200. Didn't happen but had a lot of fun just the same. 56 Drag.JPG 56 Tunnel Ram.JPG

Did some one of a kind custom work to the body. Kept the rest kind of stock looking. Peaked the hood, eliminated the emblems, custom built air cleaner, mix of 50's and 60's interior parts and side view mirrors. Chose a 60's style 5 spoke wheels to complete the look I was going for.

My dad's 57, it's a 210 hardtop with a 4 speed and an Olds rearend. Had a 327 at one time but now has a 350 in it, has '64 Olds 98 wheels in back to run the big Olds bolt pattern with the '57 caps, plus they're a bit wider. He's got a set of stock benches which will replace the current 70's seats hopefully next spring.

Every time you post photos of this car, my blood pressure actually goes up. Car looks like it could have come directly from the factory how it's set up (minus the mags). Beautiful car. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Best view of the best looking Nomad, IMO. It's the angles of the trim, tailgate, and taillights that all work together that does it.

This car is fucking awesome! And I'm not even into this era of hot rodding, just hit the nail on the head!

I tried to included a quote of this rare, 57, 210 hardtop last night, but it would't take it (server upgrade work?). Working today though. I'm not a big fan of 57's, more of a 55-56 guy, but this car really does it for me, plain and simple, a single color, no flashy wheels, but definitely a hot car. Very nice. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

    Works for me too!
I also have a soft spot for the lowly 57/210, the thing is; my second car in high school was a 57 BelAir 2 dr ht, and I didn't even discover the 210 Sport Coupe for some years later.
I seem more attracted to 55 210 sedan hot rods nowadays.
Though I am still smitten by the plain jane looks of these.

Not quite the true sixties look, but this 55 is pretty cool.

My dad's not on the HAMB but he'll be happy to hear his '57 got some love.

This is my own '57, was a high school kid's car, if you look real close you can still see some old pinstriping on it, and also note it's a 4 door with the back doors bondo'd over! That's been undone already, and it's slated for a 2 door conversion with correct length doors (which I've done several of already) but I think it mostly fits in here. The wheels are Fenton Hawks, with trim rings on to cover the rusty chrome steel outer hoops.
