Best looking '47 (?) Plymouth 4dr I've ever seen. The rake does wonders for attitude.

Nice car, just sits wrong according to me, take off skirts, or lower back more than front.

ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1452300221.749802.jpg mine has a slight lean to the back. What's that called? Not drastic enough to be a tail dragger for sure. I'm east coast .

  10. My '57 Custom is close to being finished after 10+ years. I'm still fiddling with the ride height as I ended up with the wrong front springs in it. I asked Moose to Photoshop/finish it up for me with the rake (it's currently level even though I've got 2 1/2 dropped spindles on it). I also asked him to add some ghost flames in Purple. I'm not sure about the flames, but I definetly like the rake. So, other than the flames and the rake, this is how my car is to date. flames.jpg

  11. Way Cool.....The car and Moose's work....Stance is (almost) everything but paint can make or break it. Thanks for sharing it......

Pardon me if this is a redundant post, but years ago, we thought that the rake was originally used on some drag cars so it was easier to lean over the fender to get at the engine.

  17. How about a Connecticut rake, circa 1987.

  20. Watson Perfection 63 Ford.jpg Here's a nice illustration of what we're talking about. For me, an inch or two doesn't make a rake. If you're going to do it...DO IT! This is still Mild, but it shows a nice contrast.....

Thank you...it's a "rake" not a " st--ce"...I dislike that word and won't say it.

Thanks, the antennas are only on the car until I can shave them along with a few other items and reshoot the car.
