Stogy: Those wheels on the roadster in post 315 ,look to be '54 Buick Skylark wires; to me.

On the Bruce Larson '32, I'm almost certain Bruce told me that is his original car; that he had to trade a '32 3w body for to get it back.

Frame horns have since been bobbed. Rear leafs are front '48 F1. Frame is model A based widened and contoured to follow the T body.

  7. I was only going by what the article said, if Bruce says it's the real car I am not going to argue.

bowie went to this link provided by cactus and gleaned from the thread (owned by a Hamber by the way Tetanus Shot) that they are Chrysler Turbine Experimental Wheels (how rare are those eh). Check the thread out it is a very good read.

When it comes to rare stuff and there is a lot of it out there and on here...I was looking at the fellow who built this car and there was a guy by that name that was a baseball great. Is this his car. Did he know somebody at Chrysler. Just wondering.

    New interesting connection perhaps

Interesting, in a thread about homogenized hot rods you post a bunch of pics of cars with 32 shells, possibly the single most overdone mod in hot rodding, maybe only out done by 350/350 engine trans swaps.

You have a lot of one of a kind thinking involved in this...Well engineered and no doubt this stuff was available back then. I would expect for instance an auto/mechanical/aerospace engineer type would think this way and understand the importance of balance, jigging and so many other things. High tech in the field ie. home workshop/garage. That is the essence of this thread I believe. There is of course the gleaning/working with others with know how...Little Pages and all other things similar as others have said to inspire and educate all the others such as myself. Great work slinger

I was going to say, maybe you ought to put little wheels on those frame horns, in case you get a flat tire in front ;). That is unique and out of the box thinking, good job.

I'm not sure you were discounting these features from the thread as many other mods can be done to the grill and cars themselves. Many cars I have posted have this feature but many things make them one or two of a kind.

DITTO ! Or, straddle an object in the road.

  24. Scub line is fine and there's nothing that hangs below the frame with at least 4" of ground clearance.
