original 34 ford cabriolet what would be the way to lower the car down.
has a 36 motor with no miles restored about 30 years ago .
going to change to hyd brakes . wheels are going like to keep cross spring.
any suggestions apprec iate

 

Dropped axle,reversed front and rear springs. HRP

 

Very nice lookin cabrio! First thought is if you don't want to use a dropped axle, have the springs re-arched/reverse the eyes. Loose a few leaves from each spring while your at it. I'd hang on to the wheels if you take them off. They ain't gettin any easier to find (for the future owner some day). Wish mine was that nice. Tim

that is just the way I got it, hard to get pics where it is going to have the big move soon.

 

tim if I drop the axle 4 and reverse the spring would that do any change in the steering ?
