The front fenders are now further strengthened. (they were just too weak/flexible in my opinion). A metal rod is bent following the contour of the wheel opening, including the lower horizontal part, and then filled with body kit. This not only makes it stiffer, it also prevents water from sitting there.

Thank you hemi v8! I'm still optimistic that the body will be painted this year, even though 2016 is getting closer by the day!

  12. This cars certainly not going to be weak, it'll handle the power from the Hemi nicely.
So buddy, there'll be no excuses for not posting a vid of your first burn out. :D
Ha, I'm joking of course, I'm sure yourll drive it in a totally responsible manner. ;)

The left front fender has now been covered with body shoot (protective coating) on the inside, followed by a coat of black paint. Mounting position is accurate now.

Question, what color will the center of the firewall be painted?

Thank you David. The firewall will also be black. Right now we're fitting the front fenders in order to do the final fitment/adjustment for the hood and grill. Then everything will be dismantled for the last time and get painted. So realistically, just another few weeks and it will be ready for paint!

Here you go BA! This is the bracket I made, the hole is for the radiator hose. The bracket has changed only slightly since then. A belt tensioner still needs to be fitted on it as well. Hope this helps!

Thanks Eric, now I remember that awesome alternator bracket. Man it's nice and inspiring.
I guess air condonditioning is not a big issue in the Netherlands? You are running power steering though I assume, I seem to remember seeing a power steering rack

Hope you have a great New Years and will be cruising this baby soon(finally)
