Have a nice 14 1/2 inch Superior, but it's too small for my 59 GMC. So, I'm looking for a nice Superior 500, 16 inch.

Anyone recognize this wood rimmed wheel? I've never seen another. I think it could be an Ansen because of the spokes but I've never seen a wood one before, let alone a flat one. img007.jpg

  13. Might be just me but I'm having a hard time seeing what it is. Maybe a pic from a different angle? Is it holes and slots or just slots

I couldn't find one I liked. So I made one.
I recovered my half wrap Pete & Jake's steering wheel with gold Zodiac vinyl. It was a real pain trying to get that stuff to mold around that wheel. It doesn't have a lot of stretch
And it isn't as quite as sparkly as the flake wheels, but it looks pretty good. tn.jpg

Took some years to finally find one but went picking yesterday at a metal scrapper & he had one. Gold & was pretty dirty. Still need to work on the chrome but pretty cool. 14 1/2". Assume it's a Covino? 3 holes.
Too bad I sold my Stude. Might have to buy another old car build around the steering wheel. He had some cool stuff!
