Here is a custom salt flat style 4 deuce setup for a Hemi intake that I made for a customer. It will work with the Stromberg 97's and the smaller Holley's. He should have a complete setup picture soon, with carbs and linkage all mounted and ready to go. I can't wait to see it.

Here is a custom top for a customer of mine down under that I just finished up. This is for a 340, 383, 440 Mopar Six Pack setup. It is going on his big block manifold, but the plate will allow him to run 3 Stromberg carburetors instead of the Holley 2300 carbs. That truly is Hot Rodding! Take care Wayne!

Here is a GMC 6 71 supercharger top plate for a 392 blown Hemi that I made for a customer. It has removable risers to add or decrease the height of the Stromberg 97 or Holley 94 carbs. We can do just about any setup for blowers, we have a couple of radical ones in the works.

Wow, there is some serious talent on here!

Here are a couple for Cadillac flatheads. I made the tri-power, and FlatRoy made the blower intake for me.

Speaking of "homemade" manifolds, a few
were even sold commercially. The first batch
of Man-A-Fre 4-2bbl sbc manifolds sold, were
built on Chevy Rochester fuel injection manifold
bases....as were the first Ridge Runner tunnel
rams too. Who was that guy on here who said
that "homemade manifolds don't work"????

Maybe a stupid question, but what are the pros and cons of aluminium (aluminum?) vs steel intakes. I really want to build my own 292 I6 intake, but don't have the kit to weld alloy. I was thinking of doing it in stainless tubing, but don't want to have any issues with fuel atomisation or percolation or whatever it's called!

Does steel transfer too much heat or not enough?

I like the look of the SU's Woodpecker. They are really easy to find over here for nearly no money. Will they draw enough air through them? I have two on my 1800cc Volvo and am worried how many I would need on 5000cc of chevy 6!

I made this to run a Rochester 2G on a stovebolt six. Haven't run it as was mostly a machining excersize at shape blending.

 

What's the carbs on the flathead intake? How did it run? Was it streetable??

Been waiting for years to be able to post on this thread. Here it is! 337 ford flathead. Got it set up for carbs right now, but later i'll make a fuel injection system for it

 

That looks a little too fancy to be home made. Are you sure that you didn't buy that at a store?

 

This looks as if it would go on an early Cad OHV8 or Studebaker V8. Any details?

Here is a set up I've been working on, for years. It based on a TBI base, which is a dual plane. I milled the top plane off and made a base and welded it down. Then made all the carb mounts and welded those down. Then made all the linkage, next is buying carb kits to rebuild 4 2GCs ($). Always wanted a Man-A-Fre, but can't afford an intake that costs more than the whole rest of the car cost to build! I enjoy seeing everybody's builds.
