Folks Of Interest Willys Owners

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 38 2 DR Sedan, Nov 27, 2015.

  1. As I read the treads of this great site it seems I keep finding a new Willys owner, so I was wondering if we would all like to post and leave a picture of our Willys Ride. If you have more then one post them pic's also. Willys In The Shop.JPG

Here's a couple of ours. The sedan on the right is an original 2 door 38 and the one on the left is the Mystery Willys that we are restoring.

  20. Hey guys, I guess I have never really introduced myself, I am Tony and I have chatted a little with some of you, so we got a nice start going here but I know there is more out there so don't be shy, post them up so we can all see what wonderful car they were and can be. I know everyone has been wanting me to do a build thread on mine but I not a rich build it in a few months to a year guy but I am making some head way so if I ever get the money together to sand blast my frame then I will start that build thread for all to see. Here is a few more pic's of how mine is coming a long. Are later model Willys included...??? If so, here's a shot of my '52 Willys Aero-Wing sedan getting the "gasser" treatment...

I have a nice '40 Ford 2-dr with a '68 327, stock 3-spd and banjo. Would you be interested in trading one of your sedans for it ? I don't drive mine much because of the 4:11 gear. It is rust free, interior in leather from the late '80's plus lacquer paint from the same era, American autowiring, Vintage Air/heat (a South Texas must), steelies and bias plies.

Here's my long term project. It's currently waiting for me to get the body/paint work done then it's on to final assembly. It's got a blown 392, TH400 and an Olds rear end on quarter elliptics. I built it from body parts to race originally but now I would like to put it on the street if I can figure out how to get it titled.
I bought an old '48 Austin gasser a little while back and it's taken time away from the Willys for sure.

  27. Willys are Willys their all way too cool. The reason I did this thread is to see what everybody has in the way of a Willys, so if there done, if there being build, setting in a boneyard, or found out in the weather, lets see them. I think from the beginning of the Willys, they all have a very unique body style so lets show them off guys. Now I think when the Jeeps took over, those are not included in what I was really after, I do know a few were built into drag cars, but I don't want this to become a place to show off your Jeeps that needs to be another thread.
