So sorry for the people of Paris. This is a very good collection of some cool parts, especially the truck front end!
Machine is a circle/disc cutter. Chuck a piece of steel/ali in turn handle its a circle. Take the cutting wheels out and put in some formers and make ribbed hub caps. Bit like a swagger for round things
She waas one of the big ones. Can't remember what they weighed in at all up. 5ton odd? Aload of them came over after the war, nearly all Canadian built, I think.
I have a pick up as my everyday. I'm thinking more like this. Cant screen 2inchs. Chop 3or4. Stretch doors6. Coupe rear with 1/4 boat tail and clamshell trunk. Stretched rear fenders with clipper lights upside down. Splash aprons removed and running boards raised 3inches bottom 3 inches of front fenders removed. On full airbag ride. Image is at full ride height. Dope you get whats going through my drug and alcohol fueled mind
Hey - you're near Heulgoat. Spent many a holiday there. Do they still race the 2CV powered boats on the lake?
One of these might provide the quarters to turn that cab into a heavily chopped and streamlined club coupe...it is a smaller car, which might give the right proportions for that look and that chop. I used to like seeing cars like those elderly Peugeots in French junkyards and farms...lots of interesting cars, nearly unknown over here.
Well its been raining all week so have been able to get on a bit. Chassis is nearly built but still to decide on location of rear axle. Front air ride is in and fenders/wings are where I want them. Had to loose the valance and cut 3 1/2 inches off the leading edge. As I didn't want splash aprons on the running boards. Its given me a few headaches. But 6 inches off the trailing edge has presented me with a bit off a wheel clearance problem. So will have to roll new tops to fenders. Doors and roof next. And for some reason photos wont load today. Will try again later
So when it came off the chassis table. I then welded a nut to each corner put a bolt in them and turned till everything read zero. Digital levels make you so anal.
