God Speed George....He thought so much of Uncle Ray's Roadster. Went way out of his way to make the car known in his own way, responsible for some amazing photographs and even included it in his show circuit. Thanks George....

Amen, to all have posted here already.
It's been hard on me, personally, the last couple of days. As a kid, George Barris was one of my Heroes; as an adult, he became one of my friends.
Thank you, Mr. Barris...you truly were "The King Of The Kustomizers".

Condolences to the family. I was caught up in his sphere of influence starting with the Munsters in '64 . To my 7 yr. old mind, "the coach" was amazing. Little did I know at the time that that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Watching HOT ROD Herman as a tribute to him. Two of my favorite cars he ever built.

Oh man it is sad to see him go. He is truly a legend. I am honored that he picked my Kustom for his award at the Salina leadsled show.He gave me a huge tin stamped Barris crest plaque that I display with pride. Rest in peace George.

    Legendary.
One of those guys I wish I would have shook his hand & said "hi" when I had the opportunity... but I always feel like NOT annoying celebrities.
Legendary work & seems to have made a great living doin what he loves & helping keep our hobby out there in mainstream interest.
Is there an official "Hot Rodder Hall of Fame"?
