Well here's what I got! Slow going but old rear is out, ive got this 8.8 out of a mustang. I have a universal 4 link with adjustable bars I can use or I can use these that are factory after aftermarket. I like the ones pictured because they are already set up for this rear, and also where those spring perches are in the lower bars I can locate my air bags. My question to anyone reading with experience is: are these bars too short? I can make cross members to mount them I'm just wondering if the travel is right, if it will work in this application. Any feed back is appreciated!

I'm not an engineer, so I wouldn't have much to contribute about chassis work. :)

This is a cool thread! I have a 51 that I'm building. Not doing bags on mine, maybe someday, just cut the front a coil and a half to go for a 3"drop and had rear springs made lowered 3" for now.
I'm really interested in seeing this come a long!
I also put a 350 in mine. I used universal cut to fit mounts for the motor and the transmission-bopth400. What are your plans on mounts etc?

This was holding me up a bit too didn't trust the old harbor freight mig for the 4 link brackets, got a nice esab tig/stick, I'm much better tig welder than mig anyway so.... Plus I needed somewhere to put all my stickers lol
