Projects 28 A rpu build

  1. Hey guys, a newold project is coming, traditonal style, banger powered, 32 front axle with mechanicals brakes, reverse spring, A rear axle, modelo T spring A tranny, fenderless, original rpu body, 28 frame, windshield chopped 3" ...

  4. Engine specs: model A block, model B grind cam, model A drilled crank, ported, custom manifold with a Holley carb, custom headers, model A modified fuel pump, the oil is redirecting trought a gallery of tubes an sending to the mains... Model B head and wster pump, lightening flywheel...

  7. First when I bought, was thinking, its B engine block, but lately I figured that the hole for the fuel pump was maded, who knows when!

  8. In the seventies, In my town and all around, over country roads, the owner who built the engine, competed In a category named " limitada 31" . My goal is rebuilt the engine as its is... Whitout modifications...

  11. Some metalshaping pics... In the process I'll start using a model A phaeton cowl and doors, subriels were cutting and placed the original pickup subriels with some patchs...

  12. As you can see... Phaeton subriels and rpu are not the same... Phaeton are wider increased front to rear, about 1.5 inches... I don't know why, but the phaeton cowl, came with the same original floor panel, same as the pickup.... So the panel was removed and fit perfectly...

    Cool thread, my planned build is very close.

    Working on the chassis now, hope to get into the motor later this year and if I'm lucky pickup the rpu body.

  23. Work on the 29 doors handle holes, pickup two original 28 29 flutted lens, and get some parts sanded!!

    Found some Early Firestone tires for the front!! I plan to use steelies with 40 deluxe hubcaps!! 15 front and 7.50 x 16 at rear!
