Projects 1940 willys coupe, keeping it

    heres my willys coupe I had for sale but no takers, so im finishing it up and its coming along nicely. put real willys chassis under it, willys dash, front A pillars with hinges, rear floor and fender wells, winshield wiper bulges, car looks like a steal car now, heres a little slide show of how its going.

    Almost driveable, patina looks pretty good to me.

    Great lettering job, '60s style looks authentic and reminds me of my youth at the So Cal tracks. Going to be a fun ride.

  10. The new paint looks good, usually I'm not a fan of faux patina but that is tastefully done.

    those are from 1965, they have the patina I like. theres so many cool wheels out there maybe i'll switch them up later

    yes ive got the hemi in it and it fits like a glove, lol just got my side chrome in from willys supply out in California, nice stuff ! got light blue tinted lexan windows im having cut coming on Monday and a clear windshield, should look pretty cool. heres a couple pictures of the hemi going in....have all my engine and trans mnts done (not pictured)ive got a genuine steel floor im putting in after I get all the ladder bar and frame gussets and cross members welded in...     its getting there...im glad you guys on here like it, one person on here couldn't figure putting all that time and effort into a glass car but I thought "it should turn out alright" IMG_0605.JPG
