Super cool! Glad you made it! Hope I can make it next year with my 3w. Got my 29 home this last weekend and the more door! Can't wait to see your next build. 29 came with all new Brookville parts you don't see and some super cool adjustable laid back posts! 29 chassis has been gone through banger and brakes.

Great meeting you too Jason!..Thanks for the kudos. I look at where I started with this project 3 yrs ago: to pull all the pieces together, chassis and body, build an engine from scratch, add a blower, get it motivating and 2 weeks later race on the beach, make it back in one piece with destroying anything..Yeah,it was a blast in more ways than one.
Get your 32 done my friend! George

Took the car out to the Aces and Eights car club Fall Rumble yesterday. Got there kinda late and wasn't really told where to go so I just parked in the picnic area..Power Parking Torrnados Style!.The car drew alot of attention(probably because where I parked it! ha ha) but the people were great! The Aces and Eights guys always put on great shows, try to make their events next year for sure.

George, it was great to meet you and see your car man. Awesome job! Your can just spun the tire (sometimes tires) down the beach. It must be a blast on the street. Anyway- see you next year if not sooner. Ron

    Thanks cactus1!

Great meeting you too Ron! Traction was definately my biggest issue(besides sand in my clutch which screwed it up royally). Might be running into each other again sooner than you think. Now that I'm "in" with the Torrnados,I see a few trips to the north in my future. Thanks!

Cool Steve! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it finished.

So what's the word on the clutch then?

  27. George. Let me know if you need a clutch. I got a couple real good ones laying around that I wont use anytime soon.

I haven't pulled it apart yet but there is sand really packed in it and it was slipping really bad at Trog. I had to shorten the clutch rod to get some freeplay back in the pedal as it wouldn't release all the way.

Thanks Jason,I'll let you know..I'm going to mess with it this weekend and see if I can free it up some. I appreciate the offer!

  29. Looks like you put an old time ass whuppen on Mr Bass at the beach......

I sure did! Someone said he had a supercharger too? I never saw under his hood, but it says something about superchargers on the drivers side cowl of his car..In his defense, traction was the big issue for everyone. If you could get the car moving without too much tire spin, you could beat anyone. I know, I got beat twice during the weekend by cars that just hooked up better than I did. Shit happens!
