What did you use for the portion of the hinge that attaches to the dash lip? Thanks

 

If I can find some blank Chrysler rocker covers, I'd like to have IMPERIAL stamped in them. I'll start looking around.

 

Rich:
I fabbed a piece of 3/16" round stock to mimic the original hinge since
a friend wants the original. I had cut the back out because the door
was to heavy for the magnetic catch.

 

Dave: I found them! LOL

Are they yours and are they for sale?

BTW, if I hadn't done three tech threads myself, I would have voted for this one!

I found another pic that I added to post#56 that shows the simple die
I used to stamp the side of the battery box, just wanted to complete that
section of the post. (sorry for the double pics, computer challenged!)

Thanks; three little hinge pivots, good idea; I was trying to figure out a way to make one wide pivot like the stocker.

 

Rich, The two outside pivots are actually spread out to the corners to keep the
glove box door from moving side to side. I just threw those on for the pic.

nice job on the valve covers,love the glove box door, what hemi you running ? whos 2x4 intake,and I see your using an external t stat housing ? was wondering if your not running a cross over ? my valve covers

then why are you running an external thermostat housing ?

 

Sorry, I meant the lines cross over to tie in to the stat housing. This
is 58 trk blk, no outlets on the heads for stock type crossover.
