  2. I like it! I took this photo at the HAMB Drags so I think it would be fine.

Anything that makes you say "I'm not sure I'd want to go as fast in that thing as it looks capable of".

We are in the planning stages as of now.
Thought it would be neat to have one of the Daimler Hemi engines in it but not sure it would be cost effective.

  6. Cost effectiveness is in direct proportion to depth of wallet.

if I had an old brit car Healy, MG, hell even a Morris Mini I would be all over convincing myself that it was HAMB Drags worthy.

Hell yea, do it! Those pesky little bastardized Brit missiles have been a part of it since nearly the beginning.

No but I like input being good or bad.
I had other plans for this car but my buddy has been telling me this is the way to go.
But after a night of bench racing I gave in and told him this would be his car did I F@&k up???
I was not in logical state of mind if you get the drift.

  11. Alcohol and acid has a tendency to make one cosmic. :D

If you have a brit roadster and somehow gave it away then yes you did fuck up. LOL Actually you should have given it to me. :D

Doubt I would hack into a 3000 but a Sprite without even thinking about it.

    1965, got a '58 Austin Healy 1000 six...I substituted a 327 and Muncie M20. Pontiac 4.11 rear, then traded it off!
I feared I was losing my 'image'...:(

  18. LOL I would hack a 3000 in a New York minute. When I was a kid I used top pit with a guy named Kilcup who had a Healy with an injected GM 6 in it. A V-8 would just be easier although for me a Hemi would just be too big and bulky ( well that and I don't own one). ;)

Sorry guys I have been out of town braking my car.
Now we may start with a small block Chevy
Not sure of the to be drivers skill level yet he talks big but he is big.
So if one was to put a full cage in it would it take away from the look to much.
As being one that like the look and nostalgia of the plan I feel safety needs to be Incorporated.

  21. Assassination is a legendary drag car. Anything built in its mold would rock.

I do have a 406 small block that have been collecting parts for since about 1986.
Maybe its time to get it in motion.

Well my crew (if you can call them that) did put a little towards that.
