Still slow going on converting my 4 door Malibu Wagon into a 2 door Nomad. Most of the design and fabrication is done. One major decision left on the rear upper hatch design and then maybe I can start getting the body and paint work done.

  14. 68 bagger - Right on. No stainless at all on it, like a 150 with just the rubber gasket around the windshield.

Had this 64 Chevelle 2 door wagon in the early 70's, fairly rare even then.
Olds 425/Muncie 4 speed and 12 bolt, previous owner installed.
If I had kept it that dud Olds engine would have been replaced with a SBC.

Those are really rare. My buddy that built the 67 2 dr picked up a set of 64 windows from a hardcore 2dr wagon guy. He wanted to know what 64 it was going in because he knew them all.

He did his with an el camino body and the roof from his 4dr since the El Camino has the same floor underneath the cover so he already had his rear seat anchors

Nice project. 67 2dr. He started with a 4dr wagon. Went 3 dr by adding a El Camino door then used the body of the El Co and the roof of the 4dr. The side glass was from a 64 2dr wagon

Wish I could have kept it because it was really nice. During this time frame I had a 65 El Camino factory 327/4 speed/12 bolt and also a 65 Chevelle 2 dr hdtp drag car with a 355 small block and B/W Super T-10 4 speed.

20 some years ago I drug home this pile. Rusty but savable. Purple tint, hole in the hood for who knows what? 2 or 3 nest of carpenter ants button tuck crushed velvet interior. Shag house carpet. Bought it for $60.00
Sold a year or two later. Wish I knew if it ever made it back on the street. attachmentBINB0VXP.jpg

  29. Back in the sixties I had a '55 Handyman, 6 cylinder & 3 on the tree...

It eventually got the rear wheel wells radius-ed like a Nomad and 2 more Crager SS wheels.
