It happens in Wildwood NJ. They race hot rods and motorcycles on the beach.

The Race Of Gentlemen. It's a race held on the Jersey shore in October. It's put on by the Oilers club and they are very selective about the cars and bikes that are allowed to enter. It' s a very cool event that seems to get better every year. The vehicles are incredible.

Funny, I new what the Race Of Gentleman was for a while. A year or so ago though it took me a month or more to figure out what guys were talking about when using the acronym TROG. I felt like a dweeb.

No Jersey wise cracks! Otherwise we will leave Chris Christie in CA.!

  11. Which is probably WHY California will physically break off at the San Andreas fault and sink into the abyss :D

Thats why we have so many wind mills out here. Keeps Calif. pushed up against the mainland.

A TROG would be one member of the TROGGS, a band from the 60s that had a hit song called "Wild Thing":D

This hobby seems to have Trends? , or cycles every 50 years? Would TROG style build, the thing, for a few years to come?

Thanks Mac! This is a great race/show! Saw the first TROG just before Sandy, in Allenhurst.

Its the other way around. We will be here and the rest of the US will be in the Atlantic Ocean.

  24. Anytime, jerseyboy!

Unfortunately, the '22 490 Chevrolet sprinter will have to wait until next year, but I can't wait 'till then :D

55willys, WA will be just fine, it's CA that will sink into the murky depths, just CA :)
