There wasn't a thread called Who is changing your model T. I guess that is where this should be.

I have always thought the mags on my car just were not quite right for the 62 build time........so I changed it. The car now has steel wheels and chrome full moon caps.................I like the look new look.jpg

Nice improvement for the look and a lot more 62 then the mags.
The mags sure looked great to but more like 64-67 to me.

  7. Saw this at a swap meet on Saterday, hope to see it built in the near future.
Its not $450 as there's another 0 behind the tie down. JW

Wish I could have made it to the PN swap meet. There seems to be a lot of T bodies being imported from the US by chaps down that way.

  12. Hey Kume:D, there was this 25 T as well for 4K. All the ones down here are from the same guy (Gary) and he has a shed full of cool stuff, 33 5w,32 5w, 54 Vette and many A's and T's.
There is another swap meet there in two months but run by the Vintage Car Club. JW

  14. A lot of freight is in the prices and Gary is a bit expensive. Makes me feel good that I got mine for 10K. JW:D

    Thanks JW
I wonder how our prices compare with shipping. The 26 27 coupe would be about US$3000 & The 24 about US$2600.
Still - if you cant get one in NZ the prices sound pretty reasonable to me esp the 26 27 with little woodwork required.
I will keep an eye out for the later swap meet but am planning to do the Shaky town swap meet this year which will blow my swap meet budget on the exorbitant prices of just staying in Chch.

  16. I have added steering now, so it is at least easier to move around for when I find the time for it:

I've been swamped and not able to get much done, but heres' the frame ready for the painter! It looks about like a large pallet cart from Home Depot that somebody stole the wheels off.
I hoped to drive it this fall, but...
