You're right about Dee and Greg, If not for them two I doubt the south east Gassers would still exist because they really take a big load off of me. To bad they don't get on the hamb to see the compliment. They worked on my pro mod team for about 12 years and was just as good at that.

About time what was the ET

  10. You had them in the air every pass yesterday! Nice show!! Car was moving right along too. It must of been that clutch pedal adjustment. Good seeing you briefly. You guys made my 4 year old son a fan. He's already asking when the next race is.

  11. Tom!! Holy sheeeet you got it! Look at all that going on - the car went left (why the wheel is turned) this was the first launch on the fatter tires - so 6000+, drop clutch, just like always, no big deal, yeehaw! Got me out of the lane so it was not much of a speedy pass but man what a ride.

So the wheelie bars never got used so they we just set at some random point. From the shot, you can see the right tire is hooked and the left is not so much. Quain - the master at this said - to add 2 turns to the right wheelie bar - went straight all day after that. Guy knows his stuff. ;) He didn't have this photo either at the time. Really appreciate the schooling Quain  I wuold have dropped the other wheelie bar. That would have been an even more epic shot.

Yeah Dave - it is about time - just needed fatter tires - who knew? The odd deal is the 60 foot dropped like 2 10ths but the ET slowed down. MPH down too. Bigger meats take more to push maybe?

Jason - wish you could have brought that Circus Bear with ya. It was cool to see you there! Yeah the clutch adjust helped a lot. Fine tuning. Never ends.

    Fine tuning. Never ends.

When you are done with the fine tuning its time to build another car.

    Looking real good there Tony

Awesome ain't enough of a superlative! Now you're getting it on! And Sea Dog, that's some fine camera work as always.
That's a helluva lot of iron to pick up that high! Did the tires slip on the wheels any?

  14. No rim slippage at 10 psi. :)

Yep fantastic photography Tony the car look great. At a guess reducing the lift of the front wheels to a couple of inches would stop the energy being wasted by lifting and force the car forward at a higher rate.
It's a big step in the right direction well done

Nice Tony. Wheelies are cool, especially with a stick.

  23. The Falcon is a force to be reckoned with now! It was looking good!

Yeah man we need to do more stuff - the Atlanta area is a bit dead on the hot rod stuff.

Here is the only Gopro footage that came out - I mounted the camera under the car in a new spot and got lots of nothing. Talk about sleeping on the tree

A few more yards and you would have caught him

  27. From now on, I'm leaving my cell phone in the pits - I was looking for a Cabbage build thread on the HAMB ..... o_O Cell service is slow on the starting line. The time slip showed me going 98MPH and the other car Cate going 94MPH. Who's your driver?
