Hi I have a stock 1935 ford sedan flat8. I want to put some sort of chevy or ford steel wheel on it. how di I change the bolt pattern from stock to tradition bolt pattern size, or should I just order rims with a big bolt pattern. thanks

  2. '35 bolt pattern is 5x5 1/2" same as '40 to '48 passenger cars and Ford pickups on up in the fifties. No need to change the bolt pattern, Ford steelies bolt right on.

Remove a few leaves will lower it a little...

so for the front? is only a drop axle? Also my rims are 16inch on the sedan.

this will work front or back...be very careful taking spring packs apart...

  8. When you bolt them (later disc wheels) on be sure to use an adapter to allow for the raised pads on the drums (assumed to be 1935 Ford). Some people machine off the raised pads but you have to do something or YOUR WHEELS MIGHT FALL OFF OF THE CAR. You can see these pads on earlier hubs at: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/40-ford-wheels-on-a-model-a.750368/#post-8330045
