    Nope, race cars are in the stadium on Friday. I'll be there too. Class 15 is a show class on Sat. behind the water Co. I know of 4 of us with DB's in that class.
     
  5. Is the Lion Head the only available iron head right now? Brumfield is not available, Tod is still a ways out on his. Any other options to get better than 6:1?

    I have a Snyder's 6:1 Iron head. No problems with it
     
  8. just been working on my banger tractors....if you know the 9N/2N oil pump?....40 pounds on my rebuild of the pump makes me happy banger40.jpg little banger.jpg ......
     
  9. I am aware of the Snyder's, thats why I was asking if anyone has a higher compression than the 6:1

    the Snyder head has stock chamber . not like an after market head . im using a lion 3 now but had used the Snyder ...

    So, all other things being equal, the iron lion III outperforms snyders 6.0?
    Can you feel the difference in seat-of-the-pants driving?

    absolutely !!! much torque ! more hp . ive had more fun with the torque .........

    I believe there are still some lion speed 3 heads in stock at the moment if you want one. Not sure how many are left though.

    I would buy it again for my daily driver as the torque makes it fun .
