Finished editing my footage from Joplin over the weekend.
Great times were had by all that attended.
Enjoyed catching up with old friends, and made a lot of new ones too!

Nice Video, and I agree with 3window. When the lights came on the tunes should stop.

  10. Good video, good production. You obviously thought about this, good editing! I can take or leave the music; 'rather hear what you used than a bunch of 50's oldies. Would have been nice to hear some of the engines as they went down the strip, but getting the audio right on that is tricky. All in all, you get an A+

Great video! I could watch it all day. The music wasn't bad either. Thanks for posting it.

Was just thinking that these posts were a bit video light! Great video.

As far as "head banging music" you guys must classify the Rolling Stones and speed metal if that was head banging. I was just happy to not hear the same stand up base phsyco billy
Song for the billionth time that's always in these videos.

This video with out music would be a still shots of car in a parking lot full of people saying "so it gonna rain?" And feel pretty long. The music moves it along better.

And he turned the music down and the cars up for the strip. I heard every one of those cars make there runs, if you can't hear them adjust your hearing aids

As the infamous @Chili Phil has been known to say...you are both cordially invited to go shit in your hat.

Why does every young swinging dick on this forum feel they have to entertain us with THEIR favorite music while posting a video of every goddamn event they attend? There wasn't any stupid music blaring out of the speakers at the Hamb Drags while the cars were racing, so why are we subjected to it here?

    Thanks for the video inkstain.
Getting the audio just right was not a problem, I just turned it off, but like others have said; "It's all about the cars" with many of us.
I'm with threedubya, the music was a little distracting after a while.
Next one.......how about those boys from Texas for background music, if you have to.
I'm not quite ready for Lawrence Welk yet.

Thanks for the positive comments from most of you guys. I figured I would wait till the mud stopped flying to chime in. I put these videos together with one persons opinion in mind, myself. And just as the same as my cars, I do them in a way that suits my interest, not for mass appeal. Knowing that not everyone will enjoy them. Either by how I shoot, edit, or choice of music I seem fit to add. But I have found sharing them on this forum is where I get the most positive feedback of people saying they enjoy them. I make these because I enjoy making them, not for profit.

So again from those who enjoyed watching my perspective of the greatest weekend of the year, Thank you!!

For those who didn't I will end in a quote

“In trying to please all, he had pleased none.”
