Event Coverage Frog Follies 2015

Frog Follies 2015 is right around the corner. Who's going? Are we going to do a HAMB meet and greet again?

 

Last year I went to where I thought the meet and greet was supposed to be and there was a rat rod parked there, so I kept walkin'.

 

I'll be there as always. Last year we had a meet and greet at our location. I believe it was noon on Saturday. Anyway, noon on Saturday will be good for this year. We always park in the shade (by the porta potties) on top of the hill by registration. We are at the edge of the paved parking area. There will be a red 32' 3-window with wide whites, a black 32' 5-window, a pale green 48 chev. pickup, a purple 41 chev. coupe and a red 33' roadster. Please stop by. We will display some type of HAMB signage. Note: our EZ UP is usually behind the cars in the grass. We will have a cool beverage and snacks. Sam

 

Sounds like there will be a meet & greet, it's always nice to put faces to names. HRP

 

I own the green 48 PU and will again put out the HAMB welcome sign for the meet and greet cited by "Mo-Junk". As stated, top of the hill to the right of the main entrance to the registration Bldg. Far end of the paved lot in front under the big tree next to the portapotties. While it is scheduled for noon on Sat. , please feel free to stop anytime over the weekend.

So where is the HAMB meet & greet and what time?

 

I'll be there with my '40 coupe. More than likely will be parked next to Clay Vance's '37 sedan and my brother-in-law's model A coupe.

I will be there as an observer as well. The coupe is finally getting her upgrade and the sedan isn't done yet.

 

Planning on being there in the '34 for the 33rd time.

I didn't get to make it to the HAMB drags, due to a conflicting trip to StL, but I did wave to you when we were westbound and you were east bound, right around the 150 mile marker.

Bret, looking forward to visiting with you in Evansville. Our group (red 32 ,3-window and black 32, 5-window )will be leaving Rolla at 0700 Thursday morning. I believe it will be somewhat cooler this year. I didn't see you on the trip home but thanks for the wave. A mattress took flight in front of me around mm103. I think it was a queen but it looked huge at 75 mph. I was a little focused the rest of the way home. Sam

40standard, I understand. It will be a cool year to miss. Forecast predicts temps. in the 80's and only a 20% chance of precip. on Saturday.
