    I usually like black and white photos, but damn, I wish these were in color!

    Nice little '40, neat, simple and pretty basic. This could be recreated for a reason price even today!

    One of my favorites also. I remember looking at this in my dads Hot Rod rag as a kid.

    I built the car above in 2003-drove it all over and took to Cruise Paradise in Hawaii in 03-sold it in 06 went to LA then it was at Canepa's where this photo was taken--think it's in the central SanJoaquin Valley somewhere now--maybe Los Banos

    I drooled over my keyboard many a night.The SBC was the killer,but now I'd probably be OK with it because of the reliability factor.

    have done 13 since that one-- currently have the dlx here and a std coupe as well--must be crazy huh???
