Yeah, that's what I was thinking and afraid of. Mine is a Transfluide and the trans sits lower than the regular transmission, I can't get it any lower than what it already is because of those nasty speed bumps.

  6. Wow, I never thought I would read 18 pages of a thread so quickly. Your work ethic makes me feel like a bum, so I guess I need to pick up the pace, rain or shine. Great build, very inspirational, and such talent!

Dig the video. Ah, the old screwdriver stethoscope trick. Works good for electric motor bearings too.

Hello guys, i wanna finish my car for the September 4, to celebrate my first post here!....i am stuck with the rear wheels, so i have deceided to feet 16 tires on the 400 vintage wheel size, with 15.75 portawalls, reduce the 16" moondiscs......, anyway, a lot of brain storming for nothing special.....

    Bye bye old rear tires......

And the result is ok, but it's very low, but it's cool :)

This build personifies the old tale of the ugly duckling growing into the magnificent beautiful swan! You can be extremely proud of what you have built, it is super cool!:D:cool:

The problem is how can i have rear light, turn light and stop light with only 1 bulb?......damned, i'm in 6V, and the original turn light flasher (name Stopindic) doesn't work with modern leds......and i don't want to put old 6V lamp bulb because they are not enough flashy, and i think someone risk to crash the rear of the car with that too old vintage lights......so, i have deceided to buy a new modern turn light flasher, and remind the concept....i need 3 lights source.....so i have buy 10 leds.......

It's rotten home made, and sometimes i do shit, but it's ok, there is no bulb heat and the polystyrene is ok to keep the 5 leds in place, no fire risk... (the center led is on the original 59 caddy light support). The center light is for the light and the stop, 5 stars leds for the turn signal.....

Pict under the sun, i can turn safely!

And the front turn light flash too.....i have finish the electricity, phew....

Did you get the original flasher to work? If not, I suggest adding a 5 watt, 100 ohm resistor from the positive side to the negative side of the wires that power the directionals. You might have to play with the resistance value to get the timing right.
