A local insurance agent in Clarinda had quite a collection of cars, from Model T's up through the 70's and 80's (?) including a Boss 429 Mustang that went for over $200K but the one that was interesting was this old shoebox Ford, that may have been a Lee Pratt car, interesting story, what interested me was the four two barrel carbs on the engine. Here is the link to the sale and other info. http://www.icollector.com/Automobil...-missing-custom-created-by-legendar_i22033520
Ryan knows him. He is the guy that writes the Jalopy Journal. Do an @ sign and his name ... and the chimes of heaven will answer you. Maybe like this : Ahem' .... @Ryan .... phone call for Lee Pratt
77Auto Thanks I feel like the 50 was given to me after 55 years of coming up short on every rod I built and sold
I seem to remember a story I think Pat Ganahl wrote in the rodders journal about a car he was building in Iowa at the time of a divorce. He either sold it unfinished or the wife got It . Can not remember for sure . But I have followed a lot of Lee's cars and I don't recall this one. I thought Lee lived in California . I read He is good friends with Jimmie Vaughan and he lives in Texas. Larry
