Event Coverage My weekend at the nats

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by timwhit, Aug 10, 2015.

  1. I'm going to sort these pics into categories. First, a few swap meet pics, then random pics of the stuff I like, third, some pics around the tent with the guys I hang with and last, weird crap. If I get banned for the statement about the last set of pics, well, its been fun til now.
The swap meet seemed to have more sheet metal parts than in past years. Several '34 grills with not too bad prices. 058.JPG 059.JPG 045.JPG 046.JPG 047.JPG 048.JPG 049.JPG 061.JPG 059.JPG 060.JPG 054.JPG

  3. Segment two, cool stuff. This may take a couple of posts to get all the pics in. Got them all in. On to next post, the "tent". 006.JPG 080.JPG 079.JPG 076.JPG 077.JPG 073.JPG 067.JPG 066.JPG 065.JPG 064.JPG 062.JPG 056.JPG 054.JPG 053.JPG 052.JPG 043.JPG 042.JPG 040.JPG 034.JPG 033.JPG 032.JPG 022.JPG

  5. Bunch of these guys are Hambers. Some of you will pick them out. I'm not sure how to put text between pics and rather than mess it up I'll just give you pics.

I see Lil Howard sold his blue 32 sedan.

and I'll be glad when the big bug-eyed headlight trend goes away

Great pictures, thanks for the effort.
Would you have a picture of the '34 four door with the Potters trunk from the rear?
Have a car, and a trunk, trying to make up my mind.

Had an enjoyable three days there and managed to arrived just as Thursday's rain was finishing.

Was nice to meet several HAMBers and see a few traditional cars. this was my first trip to the Louisville show and I was happy I made it there.

    Great photos, thanks for sharing.

Timwit, great show! Thanks for posting. And I agree with you, the four "miscreants" you posted are a "revoltin' development" as Riley used to say to Junior. Reminds me of first lead east where I ended up parked next to an Isetta that was sprayed with glue and then purple felt flocked. JEEEEEESH!

Do a Google Image search for "1934 Ford Potters trunk", you'll get several views of those w/ & w/o the spare tire. K6
