  4. Gateway! Went there many times when I lived in Puddletown.
    As a kid I thought it was pretty exotic, it was way on the far side of town and had a cool hobby shop! Is it still there?
    By the way, the old FRED MEYER stores were the greatest ever. They had everything you can imagine in one store! Not like today! Day's LONG gone by.......

  8. Freddies ain't the same at all. The other day my wife and I had to go to 197 different stores to get a belt for a vacuum cleaner. (Why didn't we call? Because employees usually just tell you what they think you want to hear). We BOTH thought "Jeez, ages ago, whatever you needed you could get at Freds!".

  27. Look at all those gorgeous Pontiac engines! Some have 3x2's, some 4brls, I bet there's some with 2-4's in that mix, as well.
