    I thought I had a little too much, so I traded looks for a while. Lost about 2" of tire in the back, and gained about 300 rpm on the hiway, but I am pleased with the change.

  6. I had to build the chassis with a little taildragger flavor so those rear wheels would let it set it to 4* ass up.

    Like most cars/trucks in this thread the rake on Clarence is sorta hard to see in a pic unless the view is straight on from the side. Stock the bottom of the running boards and the sheet metal behind them is level with the ground and about a foot off of the ground.

    Notice in the avatar how level Clarence is? That's due to all that torque produced by 283 c. i. of Chevy power lifting the front coming off the line at MoKan. There's no danger of front suspension damage when it comes back down from a wheelie...

    I have adjustable rake on the stude, california mode for cruisin, then mat the pedal and it adjusts to gasser/altered mode. 20140503_143357.jpg day-of-the-drags-2014-texas058.jpg

    Torsion bars cranked up a few turns. Air shocks in the back. Sitting up all the way around.
