I can make it there just Friday as a spectator. Is just Friday worth it? Like is there enough action,swap meet up and running etc. to make JUST Friday worth it? I take it that it opens at noon Friday?

Made it. A light drizzle is falling. About 50 cars so far. Wife stayed home from work so i could leave. One black male born at 10:30. Seven more to go. Last year i went fri only. Well worth it.

 

Took my family last year for Friday and Saturday. Well worth the trip, best show I have been to by far. I believe the gates open at 10 on Friday racing starts at 11

The local weather guy on the six o clock news said this rainy stuff to move out by morning then 90s and hot for the weekend. Should be a great time

 

It was pouring here in Rockford several hours ago. Now it has cleared off for a bit. I'll try to get loaded tonight for an early start to Byron in the morning.

Just made it here about a half hour ago.....the Frozen in Time Falcon is here with a brand new kick ass engine! I hope I didn't bring the Ohio rain with me.....because it was pouring when we got here

 

We are ready!

 

Went through the ignition on my 55. New plugs and wires, cap and rotor. Set the valves, checked all the fluids and filled up with race gas, today. Should be ready for Saturday.

Also loaded up my 59 with some parts for the swap meet on Friday. It's a good thing that 59 Chevys have big trunks.....Just not big enough to haul a Pontiac rear axel, though.

 

I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve . I better bring my ADD medicine or I'll just be spinning in circles. Love them pics. More please!!! Hold me over till tmrw afternoon when we head out

 

balls, I broke a "new" titan intake rocker last night in the stupid QT parking lot, idling.
shit, got pulled home, put an old one on, , then tonight broke #2 intake rocker, just like #8 last night.
shit.. been driving the snot out of it, the rockers are about a year old. I figure I'll run out of used rockers soon.
guess i'll be riding in the truck with my princess..
gonna get back from the meltdowns, , and build my own stupid rocker arms. TITAN>>, suck a dick.

 

Got parked with the GTO before the rain came in. Now the GTO is parked in a puddle like the Filthy Forty. Can't believe Arnie's coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
