Bender did you get a chance to run at MoKan last Friday or was it a rain out.

  2. Is there race gas for sale at the track?

  3. Yes there is.

Jeff posted on Saturday octane and price ranges (bottom of page 107 of this thread?). Methanol is available as well.

Beer, well you have to supply that, lol

If you want to go to a "Traditional" auto parts store, try Kunz Bros. in Freeport Ill. They still have parts books and figure up the sales tax with a tax table. The sales receipts are written up by hand, too.

They've been in business since about 1946 or so. Several years ago my older brother needed an oil filter for a 1944 Walters Snow Fighter. Yeah.....They had it in stock.

Just sent some messages and I will post it here also but just found out that our third driver will not be able to make it so the Charger will not be making the show. We just don't have enough drivers to get all my shit up there but I will be there with the Bel Air trying to get a handle on it.
Hope this lets someone else in if its not to late.

Any opinions on this Font for the hood scoop of 55'? Is it old school enough? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1436929025.316078.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1436929058.991189.jpg

I like the white with the black border/shadowing.

Reminds me of some of the cars out of Ohio back in the 60's.

The eastern gas-class cars really had a style that was unique, even among Gassers:)

The guy who lettered my car said he doesn't use "fonts" :)

We made it to the Panhandle tonight....the old suburban is running warm, but humming right along.

Well went to do a test run tonight and the Falcon acts like it was never tuned at all. Flooding, fire, and then running rough. Not sure what the hell is up. At this point not sure if it is going to make it or not. Still have the issue of side windows.

I had the same issue the other night with my Willys and I just knew the msd box had crapped out so I started to pull the dist and put the points ign back in and when I pulled the dist cap it looked like a tropical rain forest I guess the humidity had been so high down here it made a mess of it i swapped the cap and it ran like it always did not saying that's your issue but it's a stupid simple thing that when your thrashing you might overlook hope you get it sorted out i would like to see ya run it

I'd just like to be the first one today to say that Spirolox can go eat a dick.

    Thank you.

    That it all.

Is there a cruise-in for The Meltdown? Didn't see one listed on the schedule.
