  1. Oh HELL YEAH!!! I don't know why there are so few early custom styled model 40's when they look soooo good.

Does anyone know the door width difference of a 5W vrs 3W?

Notice how the front fender has been modified for tire clearance? It reminds me more of a 32 fender. I have some 32 fenders....Im going to mock it up. Screenshot_2015-05-29-08-41-35-1.jpg

It has been said that Henry Ford raised the roof lines proposed by the stylists in order that men would have room to wear hats while driving. It is my opinion that the most elegant roof line would be achieved by returning the roof line only to the point the stylists thought was "just right". My $.02.

Very interesting! Although I appreciate a heavy chop, it's not the style I'm after. I want a very suttle chop. Probably around 2".
I have to get the stance right before the chop.

Looking good Kathy. I'm a firm believer that stance can make or break a car. Good to see that you're making the extra effort to get it right.

Very frustrating day. I replaced the yolk seal to fix the leak only to realize someone at some point reversed the backing plates. Bad words! Got the axles pulled. Thinking I should go ahead and pull the 3rd member and clean it all up. I know nothing about dialing in a rear end.

  14. Ha ! Something I can do ! Other then hang your air freshener. Trust me ... you will have no problems figuring this out. I have faith. Frekn' A ... hell yeah I have faith. I'd screw up your nail polish long before you will screw up the rearend setup. Fact ! Torque wrench, gasket scraper, parts wash of choice and feeler gauges (if that, probably just white lith. grease and an eyeball). Proceed please ...

Don't feel bad, I don't think many of us HAMB'ers can French braid either!

I'll bet you could french braid if you really wanted to  you've shown the ability to do most things that you have a real desire to do. :D
