Hey Muttley, Thats a great idea. I grew up in Fresno, and still see a lot of the
local Hot Rodders, I will put out the word. Also be fun to meet H.A.M.B. folks.

Muttley, thanks for setting this event up. My dad and I had a good time getting to know other car nuts and see the great cars. Hope more events get planned.

No problem..........not sure how much credit I should get though, all I did was suggest a meeting in a parking lot.

I was really pleased with the turnout, especially since this was the first one. It was great meeting everyone.

Any suggestions on how to improve & grow this thing? Should we make it weekly, bi-weekly or once a month? How about the spot? Stay at Cedar & Herndon or find another lot? Also, I mentioned to some but not all of you about the BBQ I'm trying to get set up for sometime this Fall at Woodward Park. I was leaning towards mid-October to mid-November, that way the heat of the Summer should be just about gone, it wont interfere with Thanksgiving and should still be before the rainy season hits.

Had a good time at the first HAMB Fresno meet.

 

I've eaten at that BJ's many times & quit maybe 10 years ago when I thought it had become too greasy. How did you guys find it?

Anyhow, that's not why I didn't show. I had other pressing business involving concrete and the front garden and a whole buncha big rocks that the wife could not bear to put off.

You guys didn't miss much (I'd be driving one of our unHAMB cars) but it looks like I missed some cool rides.

 

I didn't know about the first one or would have been there. When is the next one?

 

I'd say monthly is my preference for the get togethers. More than that and people burn out quickly. The picnic in October or November would be fun. If this becomes large do we need permission from a business in the shopping center?
