Just an observation from the peanut gallery, but those hand look pretty masculine. Legs, not so much.

She had better be careful, liable to tire burn on those shapely gams.

  3. Anyone know what the car is? HRP

  4. It's an English Ford Consul Capri. The background of the shot also looks to be England as well, so we may be looking in the wrong place for information as these could be tyres not tires

At first I just thought you must have gotten a new supply in for the Hookah over there in 'Drippin.....................

  7. Close, but it´s actually the Capris sister car, the Consul Classic, in the very rare two door version.

bright idea - Thanks for post - Thanks Gotgas for film of Golden Shara 2 - talk about futuristic, look at all of the stuff that some cars have today. what better use of the lighted tires than to help out a model adjust things.

Well I'll be damned. Every day really is a school day.

I always thought that photo was some sort of clever negative/positive image composite from the days before photo shop, but this explanation is even cooler.

So now we have a plausible story, we need independent confirmation. I too am no damn fun to party with, but not because I'm a skeptic, I'm just a drag.

Mystery solved...nice work. Now about the girl. It appears she is working to take something off. It has to be the tires because there is no way that Consul Classic is a panty dropper, rare two door or not!

With all the glow in the dark paints and stuff now ,seems if someone wanted to get close to that look, you could have under fender lights to charge the glow stuff. We did colored lights in fender wells and in some case even timed blue for base,an red for high pitch ect. to match sounds of our radio

Tires remind me of those model car tires cast in that funky glow in the dark white/green tint.
    Legs are just terrific.

What's the coiled wire in front of the tire?

In addition to the Capri, there was a '61 Dodge used in the promotional materials from Goodyear.

Wow, I haven't thought about "Repo Man" in years. Trippy cinema.

First thought re those nice legs...she's either "adjusting" or preparing to remove her nylons; the kind that were held up by garters or girdle (gasp) with the correct latching hardware.
Predecessors to panty-hose. Might be showing my age here....
