  2. I really liked this car, a very well done chop on a 4 dr. I especially liked the green paint...a shade very similar to mine and it gave me a good view of what mine will look like when I finish the paint and it's solid green without the ghost flames. :)

The metallic red on this one was fantastic. I tried and tried, but pictures just really couldn't capture it.

Whoa DrDave...!!! Myron told me he sold the car at CCR, BUT he didn't say to whom...NOW I find that you bought it...BIG Congrats.

I asked Myron if I could do a "spotlight" (small feature) on the car for my article covering CCR for Rod Authority and told him I'd keep his name in the article...but now that I know you bought the car, I'm going to put your name in as new owner...again, Congrats on a great purchase...!!!

PS, you are correct-you couldn't build that car for the amount you paid for the finished car, A/C or not...!!!

  21. I was puzzled by those myself. I have not ever seen another set of them and wondered what they came off of. The fit the bumper real well though.

I googled Mark 2 Lincolns and did not see them But, on a 53 Kaiser there is something very close without the upright guard.

My apologies to both of you: Dr. Dave and ned5049...I thot you were talking about the cranberry colored '52 Chevy coop...I see now you must have been asking about the Mercury...and IF that is the case, I have no idea what those bumper overriders are off of...
