  2. Looks great! A couple of changes I'd make if it was me, but nothing that detracts from the overall quality of the build. When do we get to see the "first drive" video?

I'm not sure I'm feeling this black firewall....I do like the gray though. Thoughts on the photoshop?

Love the gold. Maybe the block gold and heads black??

  10. ... mnh' ... not feeling the gold ...candy/metallic/black (???) then maybe the gold is it. Thought the gray was cool, especially if you ever score some alum' heads ... one day while lucky. Regardless, you'll pick well ... or into the Baileigh shears it shall go. Bwah-hahahahaha !!! (insert maniacal Shane laugh here)

  11. The gray is boring... its a hot rod dammit!

I really liked the gold, I think it looks good with the black firewall but the tan looks good too! Are you running a hood?

yes, hood with no sides. I think the gray is boring as well.

  13. I like the black fire wall also with the hood it will look sweet. The engine is a tough call. What color was the merc that year?

I mean this in the nicest way but I think there's too much thinking being done on this. Just pick a firewall color and run with it. You can reshoot the firewall in half a day if you want to change it later. It's more important to keep the momentum going on the project. It's going to be a nice car when you're done.

Shane, leave the firewall black. Go with the gold engine and hood that looks GREAT! Gary:D

  21. While I like the gold, the heads are to much, and would look great with some nice finned ones, keeping the gold to block, n think the same for the grey. Full color is to much.

Firewall looks great cream, or body color, as in mooses pchop.

  22. OK one more with finned heads....

I keep seeing a guy on the running boards in a pinstripe suit firing a Tommy Gun from the hip.
