That's one way to get the hubby to make a grocery run. Let him buy a 40 Ford ! Suddenly honey do trips become fun.

image.jpg We didn't go on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year so we drove the '40 to North Carolina for the week. This was Sunday as we entered Georgia.

Looked at your album legends47, and saw your reference to Hot Rodders Bible. Made me go find my copy and look it up. That is a very nice 40.

The Wife and I went to Charlotte (Lowes Motor Speedway) today to the Early Ford V8 Judging Day. Saw lots of very nice cars. About 40+ 1940 cars and trucks. Here are just a few.

Is that Roland Leong (sp) ? definitely a modern photo, given the rear tire width of the '40

Drove on The Blue Ridge Parkway today thru rain and clouds. Had a great drive and visited Wheels Through Times Museum in Maggie Valley, NC. It was a great day! image.jpg image.jpg

I would love to have this framed on my shop wall, but I can't get a full copy on my printer. It cuts off the back of the car. Wonder why that is. Great picture.

other than easy access if something happens, is there a purpose with all the extinguishers by the RF wheel????

  30. ......................................At some shows they specify that you must have an extinguisher and I would assume they said put it by the lf wheel for consistency so the judges could see it right away. All good ideas. I would like to see more shows make it a requirement.
