I have a big day tomorrow, so I'll get the show started a little early...
Dick Tiago's '57 Ranchero updated. This time it's based on a late model El Camino
with a '59 T-bird front end and the beautiful tail that Tiago put on it in 1958.
One of my favorite customs!

Here is a neat 53 ford I had in the shop this week for some scallops and striping. Sorry about the poor quality
pictures. it's tough to get good pic's under the fluorescent lights.

I wanted to put this into a background, but just do not have time. I will do one later and repost, but for now...Love sixties show cars and the mild customs. Based on a ponti with olds grille and chevy lights

It's a 34 ford I pinstriped this week. Wasn't big on the color choice but liked it once it was on the car.

Rustomizer: what's the medium?

 

Last week there was a great discussion someone started about the slight decline of the FAS. I admit I've slipped into the habit of lurking and enjoying the work without even posting comments about everyone's stuff. My excuse has been that I don't have anything to share but "sometime soon I will" and then I never do. I may be able to post something later, but for now I want to specifically thank all the regulars who keep this going and for giving me something to look forward to on Fridays. I would hate to leave anyone out because everyone does such cool stuff, but that special thanks seems to be in order for the never-failing efforts of Corvette ~ Bob, GaryC., Spoggie, Frogz, Ruben and Mark A.

...since we have a home-brewed El Camino theme kinda goin,...here's a few early versions.

 

I don't know if you can call it "art" or not, but here are some of my (Futility Studios) latest creations.

The Draftsman II, a custom request by a customer (he hasn't seen it yet, so shhhhh). All vintage motorcycle parts.


Named after the viking apocalypse, The Ragnarøkkr is also mostly made of motorcycle parts. The bulb is a special flicker flame bulb called the Balafire invented in 1964.


Our Lady of Blessed Deceleration... weighs a lot.
