Hey, that's a neat looking set-up in your wife's T! Not to just focus on a number, but what kind of horsepower do you think that might put out? 5 - 7 pounds boost, two carbs, and is that an aftermarket head?

I was just looking at a post on the "Who has an inline six?" thread, and someone commented that they'd like to get 300hp out of their 226 flat head Ford six. I didn't know enough to answer, but I thought that he'd be doing good to get 1hp per cube (maybe) by using a blower like that. 300hp would seem to be a reach. Anyhow, this is all just speculation. I'm guessing 200hp, maybe a little more. We bored it out to 195ci and it has a NOS Edmunds Aluminum head with two 1b Carters. The McCulloch should have 5 pounds of boost.

if the plans don't fall through im looking at a O/T ford for a drag car that is running and driving with either a 200 or 250 I6 that I think would be perfect for a t bucket engine trans and rear end could be used from it

What mounts are you using? Commercial or custom?

I seem to recall the Poncho motor sharing parts with the 250/292, or the OHC head fits on a 292, or something - but it's been over 20 years since I've messed with one.

Rear suspension arms are modified late-1970s F150 4X4 front radius rods, front suspension appears to be F150 4X2 radius rods.

I agreed, there's supposed to be a C-bushing in the radius rods to allow torsional movement - if it's soldly mounted (as it appears to be) it's not going to handle well and will try to twist the housing apart.

That's one of the coolest rods I've seen. Is that a cut down Tudor?
