dodgeinyard - Copy.jpg My current driving custom is also a line straddler close to full custom, but could be mild. Nosed, decked, shaved, tube grill, molded lakes, frenched Buick tails, small scoops on the roof, mild hood pancake. Just crazy paint.

  3. I'll let you know man. Ha. Honestly I started with the car being pretty much strictly a lowrider. 13" Dayton's and all. But that got boring quick. I wanted something different...

...soooo I made a car that looks just like another one out there.

  4. Love that car! Saw it in Wildwood at the Customs by the Sea show last October. I think I remember you telling me the car had a pry cool story too. Don't remember what it was, but was cool talking to ya.

Bumping this up, with some mild Ponchos (from http://customrodder.forumactif.org/).

This one would once have competed in the designated "Conservative Custom" class.
Check out the immaculate inner-fender paneling!

Can you believe this next guy deleted the license guard? I love it!
I bought split '55 Poncho bumpers for my '50 Chevy, from someone who bought them just to get the license guard for his '50 Chevy!

Those beautiful frenched tail lights are why I made this post.

One more, also in green (well, almost.)!

Would you consider this a Mild Custom? In for spring updates and getting ready for summer cursing. 4 29 15 018.jpg 4 29 15 022.jpg

Figured I would join in with a car I just bought. Body work done by DeRosa customs. It's nosed, decked, rounded hood, door and trunk corners, molded front fenders to rockers and shaved cowl, flared rockers, shaved handles and side trim. prepping for paint and interior soon.

I consider just about any unchopped car a mild custom unless it's bone stock. Nice scallops.

Nice start. DeRosa is a modern day Picasso....a real artist!
How about some more mods before paint?

Perhaps the coolest tail lights lights for your car that I've seen are 1961 Dodge.

There was a quad headlight, 390 powered Ford custom in a sixties HRM that was memorable for their use.
They required some trunk-side extension pods to incorporate, with the fender top rounded down to meet.
I tried to find a picture, but came up short. DeRosa could certainly pull it off!
They would make your Ford one to remember fifty years from now!

roddin-shack..., that Mercury is the tits! really love the undercarriage detail. Thank you for sharing.

Mr. woolnough you have brought up one of my favorite photos from this thread. Don't know anything about it, except that it makes me wish I was there. Did you notice the purple '59 Ford behind the '60? It looks to me like it has been sectioned. And, yes the Chevy is cool. Like the color on it. Would like to know about several of the cars in the background too.

I kept the "mild custom" Mercury 011.JPG theme on my '49 Mercury.
